pianist, poet, illustratorRūta is a Lithuanian-American pianist, having earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance from the Shepherd School of music at Rice University.
Rūta is also a twice published poet, and cultivates an active career as an illustrator when not at the bench.
